October Half Term
26 - 30 October

What to bring

Every day at Global Camps includes a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, so it’s important children come dressed comfortably and ready to be active. October weather can be changeable – from mild autumn sunshine to colder, wet or windy days – so please come prepared for the weather.

Essentials

Please make sure your child brings:

  • A packed lunch (please note we are a nut and sesame free setting)

  • A healthy morning snack (ideally a piece of fruit or similar)

  • A named water bottle

  • Comfortable clothing suitable for active play

  • Trainers or suitable footwear for sports and outdoor activities

  • A change of clothes if your child is prone to accidents

  • Any required medication (with clear written instructions)

Seasonal Items

Autumn weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend:

  • Comfortable layers that can be added or removed throughout the day

  • A warm, waterproof coat

  • Suitable footwear for outdoor play, particularly on wet or muddy days

  • A hat and gloves on colder days

  • A spare set of clothes, particularly if wet weather is forecast

We aim to get children outside as much as possible, including trips to local parks and outdoor activities where appropriate, so please check the forecast each morning and dress your child accordingly.

Practical, weather-ready clothing helps children stay comfortable and fully enjoy everything on offer.
